Ingesto exists to turn the information a company already has into the source of truth for how it works.
Why we are building it
In most companies, the answer to “how do we handle this?” exists. It is in a PDF, a Notion page, a Slack thread from last spring, or the head of the one person who has done it before. Finding it takes longer than it should, and when it is found, nobody is sure it is still right.
Wikis tried to fix this by asking people to write everything down in one more place. Chatbots tried by answering confidently from whatever they could find. Neither made the knowledge itself reliable.
We are building Ingesto to do that: connect what a company knows, organize it, answer from it with sources, and keep checking it so it stays true, for employees today and for the AI agents companies adopt next.
What we believe
Show the source, always
An answer nobody can check is a rumor with good formatting. Every answer in Ingesto points at where it came from.
Start from what exists
Companies already have their knowledge. It is in documents, chat and email. We connect it rather than asking anyone to rewrite it.
Maintenance is the product
Launching a wiki is easy. Keeping it true is the hard part, so finding conflicts, stale pages and gaps is core to what we build.
Useful without AI, better with it
A company should get value from organized, reliable knowledge on day one. AI assistants and agents are a second audience, not a requirement.
Practical over impressive
We build for the operations lead on a busy Tuesday, not for a demo. If it does not help someone find the right answer faster, it does not ship.
